Time:  1st Tee Time is 1:00 PM*

* You will have full access to all the Little Mill practice areas before the round starts.  Please make sure you are at the putting/chipping green (across the street from the clubhouse) between the White & Blue Courses at 12:30pm SHARP to allow for final organization/explanation of the Kick-Off Classic (KOC) rules.

 

Post-Round Food & Drink

Immediately following the completion of the KOC Tournament there will be a post round party in one of 2 locations

• Good Weather:  We will have an outdoor party at the turn just off 9 Blue's green (our 18th hole).

• Bad Weather:  We will move the party inside to the Little Mill Clubhouse/Restaurant​​

The post round party will include: food, drinks, golf side bet announcements and of course "The Beast" Trophy presentation to the winner of the KOC.

* Any food or drinks you would like prior to the post round party can be purchased with cash at the halfway house between the white and blue course or the clubhouse bar.

Kick-Off Classic - JBG Season Implications

JBG participants will play head-to-head with handicaps.  The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th place finishers will earn potentially critical bonus ranking points of -3, -2, -1.5, -1 & -0.5 respectively to their season ending JBG totals.

Side Betting

Additional side wager in addition to the above JBG implications as follows:

• $50 per person  (Approximately $1000 Total pot.  *Totals below are based on $1000 total pot)

• 2-Man Team Competition  ($400 Total)

  • 1st Place Team Purse - ($270 Total, $135 per man)

  • 2nd Place Team Purse- ($130 Total, $65 per man)

  • Details of teams will be randomized and details to follow day of KOC

• Individual Competition ($400 Total)

  • 1st Place Purse ($210)

  • 2nd Place Purse ($125)

  • 3rd Place Purse ($65)

• Closest to the Pin ($160 Total)​

  • 4 Par 3's ($40 per Par 3)

    • White Course: # 2 & # 8​

    • Blue Course: # 6 & # 8

  • Closest to the pin and no worse than par to win a hole.

  • If there is no winner on any given par 3, the money in the Closest to the Pin pool pushes to the next par 3

  • If there is no winner on the final par 3, any remaining money in the Closest to the Pin pool is donated to the KOC post round party

• Long Drive ($40 Total)

  • Winner takes all

  • Long Drive Hole:  White Course: # 7

  • An eligible Long Drive tee shot must come to rest in the fairway (a questionable lie, needs to be confirmed by another player in your group).  Shots finishing in the first cut or rough are not eligible for Long Drive.  Only your first shot from the tee box is eligible (i.e. provisional shots, 2nd shot after OB/hazard, etc. are not eligible)

  • If there is no winner in the Long Drive competition, the money in the Long Drive pool is donated to the KOC post round party​
